Overview
School of Computer Science
The School of Computer Science aims to refine the fundamental qualities of computer science, an advanced discipline, and to cultivate information professionals with the ability to develop and operate advanced computer systems and strong analytical skills. Students learn advanced computer technologies along with the fundamental theories of computers. Through various practical courses offered alongside lectures on fundamental theories, students acquire the programming skills and problem-solving abilities required in a work environment

By understanding computer system architecture and various programming languages, students will play a significant role in leading the technological advancements in rapidly evolving fields of advanced computing, such as computer vision, databases, computer networks, grid computing, wireless multimedia, computer systems, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and computer security.
Department of Artificial Intelligence
The Department of Artificial Intelligence was established in April 2020 to meet the need for cultivating ethical talents with outstanding expertise who can systematically and comprehensively understand and utilize diverse and complex core AI technologies in light of the pivotal role that artificial intelligence (AI) technology will play in future societies and advanced technology and industries. The department strives to achieve high-quality education and research in the AI field through excellent faculty, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a systematic curriculum.
Furthermore, the department aims to cultivate AI experts who will play a key role with international competitiveness in renowned domestic and international companies/research institutions across all industries, including software, gaming, finance, semiconductors, healthcare, automotive, and aerospace.
School of Advanced Fusion Studies
The School of Advanced Convergence aims to cultivate professional talents based on convergent knowledge to excel in various advanced fields, including industry and research institutions. The school offers biohealth convergence, advanced artificial intelligence, and intelligent semiconductor majors.
The biohealth convergence major cultivates talents through the integration of chemistry and life sciences for the development of new technologies in future healthcare.
The advanced artificial intelligence major trains talents who can solve various industrial and social problems based on artificial intelligence.
The intelligent semiconductor major cultivates professionals with the ability to design and utilize advanced intelligent semiconductors.
Students enrolled in each major can freely choose to double major or minor in other majors offered by the School of Advanced Convergence.
The school is expected to significantly contribute to the nation and society by training professionals with convergent competencies, in response to the growing societal demand for talent in advanced fields.
