Business Agreement Signed with Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation(KIND)

- Cooperate to establish platform for overseas expansion in the field of urban development and infrastructure
University of Seoul(Chancellor Yongkul Won) and Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation(KIND, President: Kanghoon Lee) signed a business agreement on May 27th.
The main contents of the agreement include ▴ Cooperation to discover overseas infrastructure projects ▴ Exchange of educational infrastructures and programs ▴ Joint research for infrastructure policy exports ▴ Training of professional personnel through exchange of human.
With this agreement, KIND employees are allowed to admit the master’s degree course of International School of Urban Science, University of Seoul, and experience training for overseas public officials will be also in process.
Participant of the business agreement ceremony are as follows. Yongkul Won(Chancellor of University of Seoul), Shin Lee(Dean of International School of Urban Science), Joon Park(Vice Dean of International School of Urban Science), Hyeon Park(Professor in charge of the International Urban Development Program), Kanghoon Lee(President of KIND), Byungchul Won(Project Development Division), Heungseob Lim(Planning and Coordination Department) and Jiwook Ahn(Management & Coordination Department).
Meanwhile, the International School of Urban Science, University of Seoul, are established in 2012 and now progressing as one of the best educational institutions in Korea, which cultivate global professions in the field of Urban Development·Infrastructure·Environment and transfer the know-how in urban development to public officials in developing countries.
