Office of Administrative Affairs

Division of General Affairs

  • Office Overview :
    As the division responsible for general tasks concerning budget, human resources, organization, facilities, account, etc., the Office of General Affairs cooperates with external organizations such as Seoul City Hall and the municipal assembly.
  • Division Overview :

    Major Responsibilities of the General Affairs Division

    • Responsible for tasks concerning inspection, security, human resources, code of conduct, organization, and staff quota
    • Cooperate with the municipal assembly, conduct plans for improving integrity, and manage the security and hygiene of buildings
    • Budget planning, setting of tuition fees, establishing local financing plans in a medium-term framework, etc.

    General Affairs Team

    • Conduct and manage plans for improving integrity
    • Responsible for tasks related to the municipal assembly and the national assembly, as well as tasks concerning inspection and security
    • Manage records and disclose administrative information

    Administrative Management Team

    • Manage cleaning personnel, and work with the cleaning personnel's union
    • Operate and manage the recycling center
    • Operate and manage large-scale facilities (including renting out), take preventive measures inside the buildings and on the campus

    Human Resources Team

    • Manage the employees of Seoul City Hall and university accountants and assess their efficiency rating
    • Work on medical insurances, pensions, rewards, and recognition of faculty members
    • Responsible for staff training and selective welfare programs

    Accounting Team

    • Assume estimates of revenue and expenditure and conduct the accounting process
    • Establish local financing plans in a medium-term framework and disclose the budget
    • Set tuition fees, receive payments, and provide reimbursements

    Major Responsibilities of the Construction and Maintenance Division

    • Organize and manage the construction subcommittee
    • Implement budgets for construction and the restoration of existing buildings
    • Primarily responsible for overall tasks on the development of detailed facility construction plans as a part of the city planning

    • Primarily responsible for tasks related with Green Campus
    • Responsible for overall tasks about (modifying) detailed facility construction plans as a part of city planning (on university campus)
    • Implement the budget for landscaping and promoting the business
    • Maintaining and repairing buildings

    Equipment Maintenance and Repair Team

    • Maintain and control fire protection facilities

    • Improve and build machines as well as equipment
    • Maintain and control the heating and air conditioning system and hygiene equipment
    • Offer lectures on safety management and supervise research lab users
    • Manage the safety environment of research labs (with regard to gas, fire, industrial hygiene, and living things)
    • Manage employees for equipment maintenance and repair

    Electricity Team

    • Manage energy within the campus and promote new renewable energy supply
    • Manage payment of public utility charges (such as electricity, gas, water, and communication charges)
    • Manage the defect examination and safety management on the construction sites
    • Oversee overall tasks related to traffic and environmental impact assessment
